Donald Superfine, CCC-SLP/PA

Don is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and the foundation of Speech Language Pathology Tampa Bay, incorporated in the State of Florida. Don's experience with various medical agencies and their Speech Pathology patients is a huge asset to the Speech Language Pathology Tampa Bay . Don started the Speech Language Pathology Tampa Bay organization in 1999 after he moved from Chicago.

Don has been an ASHA certified member since 1969. Before moving to Florida, Don worked in the Department of Mental Health in the State of Illinois as Speech and Language Pathologist. During this time Don served emotionally disturbed and psychiatric adults and children with communicative disorders. This experience and his move to Florida inspired Don to start Speech Language Pathology Tampa Bay incorporation.

Don gained invaluable experience through his practice over the past two decades with the adult population having communicative disorders of all types both outpatient and inpatient settings. Don believes each patient has unique individual aspects in their speech and language disorders. Don works with each patient individually in providing evidence-based strategies with proven results.

Don has extensive knowledge and experience in Speech and Language disorders, Cognitive disorders and Oral Motor dysfunction. Don also helps people with Accent Modification on one on one basis with the Compton P-ESL online program to improve their English Pronunciation as a Second Language.

Member of ASHA, Certificate of Clinical Compantance, American Speech and Language Association. Don is also licensed to practice in State of Florida for Speech and Language Pathology. Part of the treatment involves develop individual treatment plan, preparing case conferences, develop plan of care for each patient and necessary intervention. Communicate with physicians for continued therapy needs and develop discharge planning.

Don works with home health agencies and rehablitation centers for developmentally delayed adult population to evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders
